My journey in the life safety industry began in 1998, working in the trenches of the fire sprinkler field replacing recalled sprinkler heads. I quickly realized that protecting people and properties was my true calling. That same year, I enrolled in a 4-year electrical apprenticeship, which set the foundation for a lifelong commitment to mastering my craft. Over the years, I expanded my technical expertise by completing an additional year of advanced electronics, two years of Level 1 and 2 fire sprinkler schooling, and countless continuing education and certification courses.

Before founding Elevated Fire and Security, I spent decades getting my hands dirty. I worked my way up from an installation and service technician to spending 7 years managing operations as a Service Manager. I know these systems inside and out, from the foundational wiring to the final code compliance sign-off.

Why I Started Elevated Fire and Security In April of 2024, after obtaining my EF Electrical License, I decided it was time to build a different kind of life safety company. After years in the industry, I grew tired of seeing how other companies treated their clients. Too many security and fire alarm contractors act like they are doing the business owner a favor just by showing up, charging ridiculous "trip fees" just to pull into the driveway.

I founded Elevated Fire and Security to completely flip that narrative.
